Bob Roncker pointed me to this lovely 14-minute video, “The Harriers.” Bob said, “I had last seen the movie in the late 60s. To me it captures much of what there is to love about running.”
See if you don’t agree. Wonderful stuff, from a simpler time. Not sure I agree with all of the music choices, but that’s probably just me. Goes just as well with the sound turned off, I think. And the wild north coast is stunning.
The photo shows Bob in one of his Indianapolis-area Running Spot stores. I fondly recall our runs together when we worked at Runner’s World in the early 1970s.
